Barmouth railway station serves the seaside town of Barmouth in Gwynedd, Wales. The station is on the Cambrian Coast Railway with passenger services to Harlech, Porthmadog, Porthmadog, Tywyn, Aberdovey, Machynlleth and Shrewsbury. The Harlech to Barmouth route hugs the North Wales coast and is most scenic.
In 1912 GWR engineers Blackall and Jacobs invented the Electric Key token system and used steel keys until alloy keys were introduced in the late 1920s.
This alloy key is a "D" configuration and is in excellent ex railway service condition.
