Product Description
A fine example of a North Eastern Railway block bell, this instrument has some interesting features such as the two bronze leaves which secure the sliding front section. The polished bell shows the many yearts of polishing by caring signalmen, the bell has a lovely tone and is supported on a cast brass stem. The case work is well presented and the instrument is in full working order, all coils have been tested on an Ohms meter in our workshops. On the underside of the top cover is writing possibly giving the location where this bell was used. This instrument will work on 6 to 12 volts.
