Product Description
The Seaton & Beer Railway was taken over by the L&SWR in 1885, and the L&SWR was incorporated into the Southern Railway with the railway grouping of 1923. At its peak Seaton was provided with through coaches to and from London Waterloo, which coupled to and uncoupled from London trains at Seaton Junction.
The station closed on 7 March 1966 and part of the old trackbed is now used by the Seaton Tramway.
A fine example of this rare desirable section of line is this Tyer`s no 6 brass tablet SEATON JUNCTION-SEATON, this one is number no 30 and retains is hand engraved description and a great patina.
