A standard pattern BR(M) 2 aspect handlamp in as found ex railway condition, this lamp cam in with a large collection of Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway signalling items from Corfe Mullen signal box. The vendor was a regular signalman there right up to closure of the box in 1966. Although this lamp is BR(M) and no markings to prove its from this box it is being sold for the same price as a lamp of this type!
