A small enamel timetable header plate "Ribble Motor Services Ltd", this company was formed in 1919 and grew to be the largest operator in the area covering between Carlisle to Lancashire .Ribble operated Cherry Red and Ivory liveried vehicles throughout its BET Group ownership, changing to Poppy Red for buses and white for coaches in 1972, 3 years after it had passed into the ownership of the nationalised operator National Bus Company when corporate liveries were introduced. in original un-restored condition, approx size 5" X 1 1/2".
