These very ornate Great Nothern Railway signal arm repeater had the important job of indicating to the signalman the actual position of the signal arm out on the trackside, these were manufactured by Tyers and Co. This example is for a Distant signal and has its original red arm with the "fishtail" which was later repainted to yellow with a black cheveron. This item is in complete full working tested condition. The dimensions are around 7 1/2" tall.
