Now this is a rare beast, a Sykes T S combined block and bell instrument which was originally produced during WW2 for use on overseas Railways controlled by the British Armies REME. The makers plate is numbed YA 6502 which is most likely the REMEs stores catalouge reference. These instruments were bought back by the LNER for use in the companies own signal boxes. This is an impressive instrument standing 22 1/2" tall and 11 1/2" wide. This instrument is completed and in tested working order and sports some inpressive Ivorine instrument plates MAIN LINE FROM WESTGATE NORTH and PLATFORM LINE BELL FROM WESTGATE NORTH.
