RA 6747 BR-WR BAKELITE TRACK CIRCUIT REPEATER.

An early pattern Bakelite Track Circuit repeater manufactured by R.E.Thompson & Co, These early pattern examples were 4 1/4" diameter as they were intended for the G.W.R 5 1/4" centre's of the levers. When the new 4" center frames required repeaters fixed next to each other they didn't match the spacings of the levers and hence the later  3 7/8" diameter ones. This instrument is in very good working condition, case has both thumbscrews and bright red banner.
