This super rare little item is all that's left from B.R. Standard class 9F locomotive 92085, this brass curved plate has OPEN-SHUT stamped into it and would have been on the regulator bracket. This was removed as a souvenir by a collector in 1971, this locomotive was sadly scrapped in the summer of 1980, 92134 became the last example of the 9F class to have a single chimney. The position of this plate can be seen in the top left hand corner of the cab, this item measures 5 1/4" X 1" and in in face polished condition.
