RA 7637 CAST IRON SMOKE BOX SELF CLEANING PLATE

These cast iron plate were fitted to locomotives which has sel cleaning smoke boxes, this is where the ash and small cinders was ejected though the chimney! These plates were fitted to the smoke box door with the shed code plate mounted above and typically fitted to B R Standards as well as other main line locos.
