A less common BR(M) 4 aspect signal box handlamp , this handlamp has the additional yellow shades which would be issued by the signalman to a fog signalman when appointed to be positioned at the Distant signal. This lamp has the standard yellow painted top to make it distinctive from a standard red-green handlamp. This item is in lovely ex railway service order with all shade in undamaged condition.
