A less common Southern Railway (Eastleigh) 4 aspect handlamp, the shades are white, yellow, red and green , these lamps were kept in signal boxes and were issued by the Signalman to his Fogman when positioned at his Distant signal. This lamp is in very nice ex railway service condition and complete, the lamp case is stamped S(E)R.
