RA 8347 G.W.R. HAND ENGRAVED SHELF PLATE "TO ABERCARN DOWN LOOP BOX MAIN LINE"

A Great Western Railway hand engraved shelf plate "TO ABERCARN DOWN LOOP BOX MAIN LINE", this plate would have been in the box on opening and would have been fixed beneath a single "receiving"  Spagnoletti block indicator. In lovely condition for a plate well over 120 years old! this plate came from Abercarn Colliery Junction Signal Box and measures 4 3/4" X 1 1/2".
