RA 8565A ALLOY SINGLE LINE KEY "PILNING BRANCH BOX-HALLEN MARSH JUNCTION"

An Alloy single line key from the Avonmouth to Pilning branch line, Hallen Marsh Junction Box is where the  Severn Beach line branched off to Pilning where it joined the Bristol-South Wales main line at Pilning Junction.  This key is the long section key which was formed when Severn Beach box opened in 1924 and was able to switch out. This key is in excellent ex railway service condition and is a "C" pattern configuration.
