This enamel WORKMAN DISCONNECTED badge is a signalman`s reminder appliance, this device would be placed over the signal lever handle when maintenance work was taking place on the signal , wire run or any other part operated by the lever. This device reminded the signalman not to operate the lever. Removed from Taunton East Junction box on closure.
