A super example of an early NATIONAL BENZOLE MIXTURE 2 gallon petrol can, manufactured by Valor, these cans appeared following WW1 in the 1920s and the company was acquired in 1957 by Shell-Mex & B.P. The "mixture was a 50/50 blend of Benzole and Petrol. This can has a fantastic original patina and would be perfect for a vintage garage collectors or classic car owner. These cans are nearly always repainted so nice to have this example, this was part of a "barn find".
