This G.W.R. wood case signal lamp repeaters are superb instruments as they do so much to advise the signalman that the oil lamp at the signals/signals are burning, this example is quite superb as it has a very interesting brass plate showing it repeats no fewer than 8 signal lamps including the UP DISTANT. This instrument is in excellent condition and in tested working order.
