RA 8792P G.W.R. BRASS SHELF PLATE "ROSE HEYWORTH SOUTH BOX DOWN AVOIDING LINE"

A fine hand engraved Great Western Railway signal box instrument shelf plate "ROSE HEYWORTH SOUTH BOX DOWN AVOIDING LINE" . Rose Heyworth was the name of the nearby colliery and also the quarry owners wife!  Shelf plates with the words "AVOIDING" is quite scarce, this plate measures 4 3/4" X 1 1/2" and is in excellent ex box condition.
