These yellow arm distant signal are repeaters are not common in the early pattern wood case repeater, these are usually red with fishtail cut out and white vertical band. The yellow arms usually were for the less ornate straight sided Tyer`s style ones, this instrument is in working order and complete with its brass no 1 plate. The case is in original condition and has a lovely patina. Additionally the case is stamped "G.W.R. MAKERS. PADD" denoting this was manufactured at the companies Paddington signal works which later relocated to Reading.
