A Great Western Railway wood case signal arm repeater was manufactured by Brittian of London excluslvely for the company, this instrument indicater to ther Signalman that the signal arm had answered the corresponding lever was pulled .It would show ON when the arm was at Danger and OFF when the arm had dropped to clear, anywhere between 5 degrees and 44 degrees was considered WRONG and the signalman would need to adjust the signal wire by means of the ajjuster. This instrument is in excellent condition and has a brass plate with 3 signal numbers showing it wasfar a theree doll bracket signal. This indicator is in lovely condition and full working order.
