I have been a professional restorer with over 30 years experience encompassing a wide range of traditional engineering and craft skills including, pattern making, foundry castings, welding of cast iron and steels using manual arc , TIG & MIG welding, Silver Soldering, brass work, milling , turning, painting, signwriting, woodwork and French Polishing, instrumentation work and much more. I have carried out restoration of locomotive name and number plates, cast iron & enamel signs and hundreds of signalling instruments. I will showcase in photos and sometime video some of the projects carried out.
