A Great Western Railway 1947 pattern permissive block indicator, permissive line were unlike passengers line wher only one train could be in the block section at any one time. Permissive line or goods loops can allow up to 6 goods trains to be allowed into the loop at the same time. This instrument is in excellent tested working condition.
