This LNWR train describer was designed by Fletcher and used extensively over the complanies lines for describing train routes to each Signalman. This example is a medium size instrument as there were 3 sizes. This body is made from cast iron and is a very heavy sturdy instrument. This instrument is the receiving indicator of which the sending instrument was controlled by the signalman send the trains. The instrument is in excellent complete working condition.The bse measures 15" and the diameter is 9 1/4". Due to the weight of this item collection in person is welcomed but we can ship.
