Product Description
A nice example of a Great Northern Railway 2 aspect handlamp, red, green plus white, this lamp is stamped G.N.R. on the case and top and date stamped 10-95 (Oct 1895). This lamp was absorbed into the London & North Eastern Railway who fixed a brass plate and is stamped HITCHIN which is 31 miles and 74 chains north of London King`s Cross on the East Coast Mail Line. The lamp is complete and in restored condition with all shades present, some damage is present on the topleft hand area of the blue green shade but does not notice when displayed.
