Product Description
A Great Western Railway handlamp of the early "coppertop" type, during WW2 restrictions in many materials resulted in these lamp being produced with steel tops and are much rarer than earlier types. This lamp has G.W.R. etched in the front glass and the case is stamped G.W.R. SWINDON, an oval brass plate 1513 is on the left hand side. The copper reservior tank is also stamped G.W.R.
