Product Description
A Great Western Railway brass case electric lock release plunger, these plungers were fixed to the front of the signal box block shelf above the lever frame directly above the lever it released. When the signalman pressed the plunger button an electricial ciruit is made and the lever lock under frame is engerised, this will only happen if all other signalling controls are correct. This plunger is well polished by proud signalman over many years, an early Ivorine tag with 4 is fitted.
