Product Description
This G.W.R. BR-WR 1947 pattern lamp repeater was produced by R.E.Thompson and utilised post office relays to allow for cheaper production costs. These instruments were to show the signalman if an oil lamp was lit at the signal. These were quite common at railwayana fairs in the 1980s but they seldom turn up, especially in this condition. This instrument has been in our workshops for inspection, cleaning and testing of coils and relays and all are in working order. A Traffolite plate "2" which is for the signal its repeats for.
