A Great Western Railway four aspect handlamp which was exclusive to signalboxes and for use by a fogsignalman when positioned at the Distant signal during fog working, this lamp has the orange band around the base making it easily identified. This brass collar handlamp is complete with all its coloured glasses intact, the outer case has G.W.R. stamped in and a plate fixed no 2862. A well presented lamp to add to your collection.
