Product Description
This instrument is most probably unique and came from one of the Barnetby boxes on the Great Central and later London & North Eastern Railway in North Lincolnshire. The instrument was used to release a ground frame and the tapper key was most likely a release for an electric lock, the bell would have been for communication from the ground frame operater. This instrument is very well made and has a brass plate "BARNETBY" and a Traffolite "GROUND FRAME" plate. The overal condition is ex box and all in working order.
