Product Description
A fine oval silverplated serving tray by Walker & Hall of Sheffield and engraved ECJS "East Coast Joint Stock". A joint service operated by the GNR, NER & NBR and used used in the coaches to save passengers having to change trains when travelling from London to Scotland. Engines woulod have been changed at appropriate points but the coaches remained, This service was later became part of the LNER, a fine item well over 100 years old.
