Product Description
A Great Western Railway early "split case" pattern block bell which has been converted by the signalling works at Reading into an ETS (electric token system) bell. These bells were typically mounted above the token instrument on a small shelf. This example has retained its original brass button screws on the top from when the front portion could be removed for inspection, this featured was stopped in the early 1900s so a rare survivor. The bell coils are in working order and the case has a fantastic un-restored patina.
