Product Description
Here we have this very early dated (1898) Midland Railway block bell from Derby Engine Shed No 1 Signal Box, this bell was reecovered by the previous owner directly from the signalbox block shelf on 11th November 1970 when the box was taken out of use. This is a rare example of a M. Rly bell as its fitted with a very small but loud sheep dome bell and retaining its M.Rly test labels. This instrument apart from being lightly cleand and coild tested is in totally original ex box condition with no restoration and a great patina. A great example from a great location.
