This rececnt "barn find" instrument came in recently and was really dirty and dusty having been forgotten in time for over 50 years! When it came to us we did consider undertaking a full restoration but after carefull examination it was decided its condition was very good. Its also an earlier pattern with the Ogee moulding, the instrument has been upgrader at some stage to include extra rear contacts. We tested the coils and flags swung freely from side to side so a quick dusting with a paint brush was all we did. We realise some collectors like the "as found" condition and wish to carry out restoration themselves, so heres your opportunity!
